Revise for evidence first, wording second
A resume is a selective evidence document. Make the work understandable, show scope and outcomes where you can, then adapt emphasis to a specific role without changing facts.
Start a resume reviewA focused revision pass
Read each bullet as a claim a stranger must understand quickly.
- Context: what problem, user, or system was involved?
- Action: what did you personally decide or build?
- Result: what changed, and how do you know?
- Relevance: why does this evidence matter for the target role?
Tailor without keyword stuffing
Map the job’s core responsibilities to real evidence. Use shared terminology when accurate, but do not copy requirements into your experience or add skills you cannot discuss.
